Mission Support Coordinator

Location: Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Maintains budget trackers for Kwajalein Sensors Departments; orders materials, processes repairs and returns. 
  • Tracks status of equipment and material deliveries. 
  • Coordinates with KRS buyers in San Leandro CA regarding status of deliveries
  • Coordinates with Hickam AFB shipping office regarding status of deliveries. 
  • Inputs transaction details into MS Outlook task file and creates purchase requisition (PR) in KEAMS; monitors progress on purchase and warehouse requisitions and follows up as needed.
  • Maintains excellent communication and rapport with the buyers and end-users.
  • Ensures timely and cost-effective delivery of items needed for mission readiness.
  • Assists end-users with prioritizing purchase requests in accordance with mission support requirements.
  • Provides guidance to equipment custodians on all aspects of government property from pre-acquisition to disposition.
  • Ensures all functions such as hand receipts, receiving, repair and returns are completed by the equipment custodians.
  • Assists property custodians with processing Lost Damaged & Destroyed (LDD’s) forms for Property assets.
  • Works with Project Controls to ensure that each department stays within their allocated annual budget.
  • Operates Audio-visual equipment during mission support activities.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
JOB SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
Required: 
  • Proficient in use of all Microsoft Office applications, with emphasis on MS Excel.
  • Proficient with Adobe Software Applications.   
Desired: 
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma program tools and methodologies and/or Six Sigma Certification. 
EXPERIENCE (Years):
Required: 
  • Two (2) years of experience in Procurement, Property Management, or related experience.     
Desired: 
  • Five (5) years of experience in Procurement or Property Management.
EDUCATION:
Required: 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
Desired: 
  • Associate Degree in Business.
OTHER SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Common Access Card (CAC) required to perform job duties.
  • This position is unaccompanied.
  • US Citizen is required.
  • US DoD Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one is required.
  • Must be able to relocate to the United States Army Kwajalein Atoll.
  • Traveling to Kwajalein Atoll, you are required to have a valid passport in your possession prior to relocation. You must maintain a current passport during your stay on Kwajalein Atoll.
